With the great support and suggestion of China Civil Aviation Administration , The International Air Cargo Association, and Association of Asia Pacific Airlines, GICC Group will continue to organize the 4th China Air Logistics Development Conference 2019 in Guangzhou City during 28-29, March, 2019. We are expecting more than 30 speakers,20 sponsors/exhibitors and 200 delegates from both China and Overseas in this premier industry gathering. We believe the ALDC 2019 will be the best platform for you to learn about the air cargo and logistics market and policy of China, communicate and do networking with china air cargo and logistics players and develop your business in China.

ALDC 2019 — The Leading Event for China’s Fast-growing E-commerce and Air Cargo Industry

Air cargo demand will grow by about 4.2% every year over the next 20 years, with East Asia maintaining its status as the largest market by far, according to Boeing’s 2018 World Air Cargo Forecast. Today, about 52% of all air cargo moves to and from East Asia, and by 2037, that will grow to 60%.This means that of the incremental traffic that we see in the next 20 years, about 70% of the growth is coming from the East Asia market. In addition, with global trade recovery, cross-border e-commerce, particularly that in China, is experiencing a significant growth. Statistics from the Chinese Customs showed that the import and export value of the retail goods went through the Customs Cross-border E-commerce Management Platform in 2017 reached 90.24 billion yuan (US$14.1billion), an increase of 80.6% over a year before. The fast-growing Cross-border E-commerce boom has enabled global air logistics companies to reap fruits and realize transition.

Meanwhile, an agreement on the development of the Greater Bay Area was signed on 1 July 2017 by Chinese government. The Greater Bay Area is the Chinese government’s grand plan to integrate Hong Kong, Macau and nine southern mainland cities (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Zhongshan, Dongguan, Huizhou, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing) into one world-class bay area – the largest the world has seen – in order to become a leading hub for innovation and economic growth. As for the Air Cargo sector, Hong Kong Airport Ranks World’s No.1 cargo airport In 2017, Guangzhou Airport as the world’s No.18 Cargo Airport and Shenzhen Airport as the world’s No.24 Cargo Airport. On November 5, 2018, The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and Guangdong Provincial Government signed a strategic agreement to accelerate construction of a group of world-class airports in Guangdong- Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The Greater Bay Area Plan definitely means greater opportunities for air logistics industry players.
