Liege Airport headquartered Coastair Chartering has appointed Pascale De Mieter as chief executive officer (CEO).

The Coastair group includes a cargo brokerage, a cargo butler service, a 2,500 square metre 2nd line warehouse at Liege Airport that it opened earlier this year and an airline – Imperial Cargo Airlines – serving African destinations.

The company said this is where the appointment of De Mieter is “in alignment with the continuous changes in air cargo” and she has committed to steer the company in to a new innovative business model “ready for the challenging times ahead”.

Coastair owner and managing director, Ronny Samaey said: “Pascale to take over the companies responsibility is a natural step in the evolvement of the group.

“Given the fact, she has an impeccable reputation, has the cargo virus in her blood and is experienced in both sales and cargo operations, I can’t imagine any other person to lead the companies.”
