Virgin Atlantic offers 43,000 tonnes cargo capacity from/to India

Starting October 2024, Virgin Atlantic adds a second daily Mumbai flight from London Heathrow and a direct Bengaluru route from key US cities, using Airbus A350-1000s. This expansion offers an additional 43,000 tonnes of cargo capacity to India's fashion, pharmaceutical, and tech industries—a 336% increase since 2019. Despite a 48% cargo revenue drop in 2023, Virgin Atlantic strengthens its Indian market presence, marking 25 years of operations and over one million seats to India.
