New service combines priority loading, specialised handling and proactive shipment monitoring as demand grows for transporting high-value AI hardware.

  • Dedicated product combines priority loading, proactive shipment monitoring and milestone tracking for AI hardware
  • Supports rapid and reliable deployment of AI infrastructure worldwide

Dubai, UAE, 03 November 2026- Emirates SkyCargo has launched AI Tech, a dedicated product designed to help customers move critical and sensitive AI infrastructure safely and on time. Tailored for AI server racks, semiconductors, GPUs, capital equipment and other critical hardware infrastructure, the product combines priority loading, specialised handling and proactive shipment monitoring through Emirates SkyCargo’s command centre in Dubai to keep deployment schedules on track.

With increasing sophistication of computing and processing systems around the world and accelerating adoption of AI technologies, the movement of technology equipment has become increasingly complex. Large-scale deployments often involve high value cargo, compressed timelines and specialised handling requirements. AI Tech provides customers with a dedicated logistics solution supported by globally standardised operating procedures including priority loading, enhanced shipment oversight and proactive customer coordination throughout the transportation journey.

Badr Abbas, Divisional Senior Vice President, Emirates SkyCargo said: “Behind every AI breakthrough is physical infrastructure that needs to arrive safely and on time. AI Tech is designed to give customers confidence that their critical equipment will move seamlessly across our network, supported by operational oversight and proactive communication. In July alone, we transported more than 700 tonnes of AI infrastructure across our global network, and demand has continued to grow. As this sector expands, our ambition is to become the carrier of choice for companies operating across the AI ecosystem.”

Key features of Emirates SkyCargo’s AI Tech include:

  • Globally standardised dedicated handling procedures to maintain equipment orientation and minimise risk of damage
  • Priority loading and scheduling for time-critical deployments
  • Airport-to-airport shipment visibility, with milestone updates monitored through Emirates SkyCargo’s command centre in Dubai.
  • Proactive customer communication and coordination throughout the shipment journey.
  • Specialist project cargo support for oversized and heavy cargo

Emirates SkyCargo has developed its AI Tech product drawing on hands-on experience transporting AI-related hardware across its network between manufacturing centres and key technology markets. AI Tech is available across Emirates SkyCargo’s global network for most AI-related cargo, including semiconductors, chips and server racks. For highly specialised manufacturing equipment, station capability assessments are conducted in advance to ensure shipment requirements can be safely accommodated.

AI Tech is backed by Emirates SkyCargo’s extensive fleet and global network. By March 2027, the airline will operate a fleet of 23 dedicated freighters providing valuable maindeck capacity for the transportation of tall and dense server racks often weighing more than 3.5 tonnes. In addition to its freighter fleet, Emirates SkyCargo also provides capacity on its wide-body passenger aircraft.

Drawing on extensive experience transporting technology and high-value cargo worldwide, AI Tech underlines Emirates SkyCargo’s commitment to serving the rapidly evolving needs of the AI sector with a logistics solution built around speed, reliability, visibility and specialised handling.
