Swissport has appointed Mr. Jourik Hooghe as Chief Financial Officer and member of Group Management. Starting on 9 January 2023, he will be responsible for group finance, including controlling, accounting, M&A, IR, tax, and procurement.
Jourik Hooghe will join Swissport International AG on 9 January 2023 as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and become a member of Group Management. He succeeds Iván Nash Vila, who communicated his intention to step down from his position earlier this year. Jourik Hooghe joins Swissport from Wizz Air, one of the largest and fast-growing low-cost airlines in Europe. He will report to Warwick Brady, President & CEO of Swissport.

Before joining Swissport, Jourik Hooghe served as Executive Vice President and Group CFO of Wizz Air. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President Group Strategy, Finance and Accounting for the Adecco Group in Zurich, Switzerland, where he was instrumental in transforming the finance function, leveraging technology and business process improvement programs. His early career was spent at Procter & Gamble. He is also a non-executive Director at International Distribution Services Plc (LSE:IDS). A Belgian national, Jourik Hooghe holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from KU Leuven university and is a resident of Switzerland.
