Saudia Cargo, the Middle East’s leading air freight carrier, has reported a robust performance in 2025, transporting a total of 573,000 tonnes of cargo across approximately 4,000 flights. The results reflect the company’s strategic emphasis on operational discipline, network expansion, and high-value cargo handling, reinforcing its role as a critical enabler of international trade and global supply chains.

The carrier achieved notable operational benchmarks, including On-Time Performance above 90 percent, total exports of 15,000 tonnes, and a Net Promoter Score of 57, demonstrating its focus on customer satisfaction and service reliability.

Throughout 2025, Saudia Cargo enhanced both domestic and international connectivity through a series of strategic partnerships. Locally, agreements with the Saudi Tourism Authority and the Al-Ahsa Development Authority supported national development initiatives. Internationally, collaborations with China Cargo Airlines and China’s Henan Group expanded Asia–Europe connectivity via Zhengzhou and Riyadh, strengthening trade flows between key markets.

The airline also launched permanent cargo destinations to Zhengzhou (CGO) and Milan (MXP), expanding its operational footprint in critical Asian and European markets.

Fleet Modernisation and Operational Capacity

To support growing demand, Saudia Cargo signed a strategic agreement with ASL Aviation for the lease of two modern Airbus A330-300F freighter aircraft. Scheduled for delivery and operation in 2026, the aircraft will enhance capacity, improve network flexibility, and enable tailored logistics solutions for global customers.

Additionally, in June 2025, the company established a new entity, Saudia Cargo Global, in partnership with TAM Group, headquartered in Hong Kong. This move reflects a concerted effort to strengthen the carrier’s presence in Asia, one of the world’s most dynamic commercial regions.

Commitment to Quality, Sustainability, and Digitalisation

Saudia Cargo continued to prioritise operational excellence and innovation throughout 2025. The airline obtained IATA CEIV Fresh certification for perishable goods handling, along with four new ISO certifications, bringing its total to six internationally recognised certifications.

The company also received multiple awards recognising Operational Excellence, Digital Transformation, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Best E-Commerce Carrier (Middle East) for 2025, highlighting its commitment to sustainable, customer-centric growth.

Through participation in international logistics exhibitions and alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives, Saudia Cargo further strengthened industry partnerships and explored growth opportunities in emerging global markets.

Outlook

Saudia Cargo’s 2025 performance underscores its strategic focus on high-value and sensitive cargo, operational reliability, and network expansion. With enhanced fleet capacity, global partnerships, and a growing presence in Asia and Europe, the airline is well-positioned to support evolving international trade demands while maintaining high standards of service quality, sustainability, and digital innovation.
