Avianca is expanding its network with the launch of a new direct route between Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Managua (MGA), set to begin operations on May 10, 2025. The airline will offer daily flights on Airbus A320 aircraft, adding over 2,500 additional seats weekly and providing more travel options for both leisure and business passengers.
With this new route, Avianca strengthens its presence in Fort Lauderdale, where it already operates flights to Bogotá and will soon launch service to Medellín, Colombia. The direct connection to Managua aims to boost tourism, business travel, and cultural exchanges between South Florida and Nicaragua.
