Bringer Air Cargo has selected the digital cargo management platform developed by SmartKargo as part of a broader strategy to modernise its operations and support scalable growth across its global network.
The technology investment will see Bringer implement SmartKargo’s integrated system across core business functions, including booking, capacity management, flight operations, analytics and customer engagement. The move reflects a growing trend among cargo operators to replace legacy, siloed IT systems with unified, cloud-based platforms capable of delivering real-time visibility and data-driven decision-making.
SmartKargo said its solution enables airlines to connect commercial and operational processes within a single digital ecosystem, helping to streamline workflows and enhance productivity while adopting a more automated operating model. As air cargo markets continue to evolve — driven by cross-border e-commerce expansion, time-critical shipments and rising service expectations — airlines are under pressure to optimise asset utilisation and improve responsiveness.
“Air cargo is undergoing a fundamental transformation, with airlines seeking smarter, more flexible platforms that can evolve with their business,” said Olivier Houri, chief revenue officer at SmartKargo. “Our collaboration with Bringer Air Cargo reflects a shared commitment to innovation and to building a technology foundation that supports operational excellence, scalability and long-term growth.”
Supporting Efficient Expansion
For Bringer Air Cargo, the implementation is designed to underpin its expansion strategy while safeguarding service reliability. By modernising core cargo processes and improving data visibility across departments, the carrier aims to better align capacity with demand, enhance coordination between teams and react more swiftly to market fluctuations.
Eduardo De Castro, chief technology officer at Bringer Air Cargo, described digital capability as central to the airline’s operational model. “Technology plays a critical role in how we deliver reliable and efficient cargo services,” he said. “Partnering with SmartKargo allows us to strengthen our operational capabilities with a flexible, future-ready platform that supports our growth and our customers.”
Fleet and Service Offering
Bringer Air Cargo operates a mix of charter services and general and specialist freight transport solutions. Its capacity portfolio includes Boeing 747, 767 and 757 freighters, supporting a range of mission profiles from heavy-lift charters to scheduled cargo operations.
The adoption of SmartKargo’s platform positions the airline to harness advanced analytics, enhance customer transparency and maximise aircraft utilisation — increasingly critical levers of competitiveness in a market defined by tight margins and dynamic demand cycles.
As digital transformation accelerates across the sector, partnerships between cargo carriers and technology providers are becoming central to sustaining efficiency, improving customer experience and enabling long-term, data-led growth.
