Headquartered in Austria, the privately owned Cargo Partner recently celebrated their 25th anniversary, to mark this auspicious occasion the international transport and info-logistics provider will open a newly built office and warehouse at Budapest Airport in Hungary.
Cargo Partner has been active in Hungary since 1994 and have been a long-time partner of Ferenc Liszt Airport and will soon become one of the first tenants of ‘BUD Cargo City’. Cargo Partner Hungary was founded as one of the international company’s first foreign branches and has since developed to become one of the most important divisions of Cargo Partner’s global network.
The new office will further strengthen the company’s position in Hungary along with moving their airport subsidiary to the newly constructed logistics center BUD Cargo City in 2019. The new logistics center will have a 7,500 m² warehouse with an office mezzanine as well as a three-story office building. The building has been designed to provide the perfect environment for airfreight forwarders.
Cargo Partner has quickly become renowned as one of the leading logistics companies in Hungary with an extensive service portfolio along with a key focus on automotive and spare parts, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, aircraft components, electronics as well as semiconductor technology.
2018 was a successful year for the company as they handled a total of 25,000 TEU in sea freight and 50,000 shipments in road transport.
