Deutsche Aircraft has named Nils Heuer as Director of Global Sales, a strategic appointment designed to accelerate the company’s commercial expansion in both civil regional and multi-role/special mission aviation markets. In his new role, Heuer will spearhead the global sales organisation and support the international rollout of the D328eco® as it advances through industrialisation and certification milestones.
Heuer brings to the role a combination of deep technical expertise and market insight, gained from over three years of experience leading D328eco sales. Prior to joining Deutsche Aircraft, he held key positions in sales, business development, and strategy at Lufthansa Technik AG, where he gained comprehensive knowledge of aircraft lifecycle management, technical support, and mission-specific requirements. His aerospace engineering background further equips him to bridge the technical and commercial dimensions of aircraft operations, ensuring a tailored approach for both civil and multi-role operators.
“Nils’s appointment comes at a crucial point in our commercial roadmap, as the D328eco moves toward major certification and production milestones,” said Anastasija Visnakova, Chief Commercial Officer at Deutsche Aircraft. “His leadership will be instrumental as we expand and internationalise our global sales organisation. Nils combines strong technical expertise with deep customer insight and a proven ability to navigate complex campaigns. With his experience, we are better positioned to serve both civil and multi-role operators and accelerate our commercial growth worldwide.”
Heuer’s appointment underscores Deutsche Aircraft’s commitment to integrating sales, marketing, operator engagement, and programme development. By aligning these functions, the company aims to streamline customer interactions and enhance responsiveness to operator needs across regional, governmental, and special-mission applications.
“I’m honoured to take on this role at such a pivotal time for Deutsche Aircraft,” said Heuer. “I look forward to continuing to work with our global customer base as we expand our presence in both civil and special-mission markets.”
This move forms part of Deutsche Aircraft’s broader strategy to strengthen its commercial organisation as the D328eco enters production and nears entry into service, reinforcing the company’s ability to meet diverse operator requirements and drive sustainable growth in regional and multi-role aviation markets.
