Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) – Hong Kong’s major independent cargo handler – has been named “Best Green Air Cargo Terminal Operator” in this year’s Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain (AFLAS) Awards.
The awards were launched in 2015, and are designed to recognise leadership, consistency in service quality, innovation, customer relationship management and reliability. Following an initial nomination round (against criteria set down by organiser Asia Cargo News) to determine the eight leading companies in each of the 51 categories, the 15,000 readers of Asia Cargo News are then invited to determine the winners – making the results the opinion of service users, rather than those of a panel of judges.
The winners were announced at an awards ceremony held in the breathtaking setting of the Asia Society Hong Kong Centre.
