Hong Kong Air Cargo has taken another step in its long-term growth strategy with the addition of a sixth freighter to its fleet, welcoming an Airbus A330-200P2F that will strengthen regional capacity and enhance service reliability across its network.
The newly inducted aircraft represents the carrier’s first fleet expansion since its launch in 2017 and marks a significant milestone as the airline moves beyond its long-standing five-aircraft operation. Designed to offer flexible and right-sized capacity, the A330-200P2F is well-suited to the diverse cargo profiles typical of regional markets, ranging from express and e-commerce shipments to general cargo and specialised freight.
With its combination of payload capability, range and operational efficiency, the converted widebody freighter will support Hong Kong Air Cargo’s efforts to optimise its network while maintaining high service standards. The aircraft is expected to improve connectivity across key regional trade lanes, providing customers with greater schedule resilience and capacity options.
