Dachser Air and Sea Logistics has appointed two new regional managing directors.
Tobias Burger has been appointed as managing director of its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business, while Ralph Riehl will occupy the same position in the Americas.
Burger is currently responsible for the strategic development of the forwarder’s air and sea business as deputy director. Previously he was head of corporate governance.
Burger succeeds Thomas Krüger, who has led the air and sea freight business in the EMEA region since 2016.
Riehl previously worked for Panalpina for more than 30 years, holding management positions in France, Singapore, and the US.
Most recently, Riehl was senior vice president of sales, responsible for all DSV Panalpina sales in North and Latin America.
Riehl assumes the position from Guido Gries, who has led Dachser’s air and sea business in the region since 2012.
