Royal Jordanian Airlines has officially launched direct services from Amman to Munich and Hamburg, celebrating the occasion with ribbon-cutting ceremonies and traditional water salutes at both German airports. The new routes are part of the airline’s ongoing effort to boost connectivity and promote Jordan through the ExploRJordan initiative, enhancing tourism and business travel.

The airline will operate five weekly flights on the Airbus A320neo to both Munich and Hamburg. These services strengthen Royal Jordanian’s presence in Germany, bringing the number of direct German destinations served by the airline to five. The flights also reinforce Amman’s role as a strategic regional hub, offering onward connections to more than 60 global destinations.
The new routes are expected to facilitate business and leisure travel, enhance bilateral ties, and support Jordan’s broader economic and tourism objectives. They reflect Royal Jordanian’s ongoing strategy to expand its European network while leveraging its modern fleet for efficiency and passenger comfort.
