In a strategic move set to enhance global cargo connectivity, ECS Group has announced a new partnership between its subsidiary, Aero Cargo Belgium, and Thai Airways. The collaboration, which officially launched on February 1st, aims to strengthen cargo operations between Brussels (BRU) and Bangkok (BKK), with further reach extending across key destinations in Asia-Pacific.
This agreement focuses on optimizing freight operations along the Brussels-Bangkok route, offering seamless connections to Australia, Korea, India, Japan, Manila, and Singapore. With Thai Airways operating daily flights with Boeing 787-800 aircraft, each capable of carrying a 15-ton payload, the partnership ensures efficient and reliable transport for a wide range of goods, especially time-sensitive commodities like pharmaceuticals.

This agreement reflects our dedication to fostering long-term relationships with airlines, helping them achieve operational excellence and provide tailored solutions. Together, we’re raising the bar for global cargo connectivity and efficiency.”
The use of ECS Group’s in-house technology, combined with the full deployment of the CargoTech suite of digital tools, promises to streamline operations and provide real-time tracking, efficient cargo handling, and enhanced customer service. This partnership will offer customers an exceptional level of connectivity, particularly when it comes to the transportation of high-value and sensitive cargo, such as pharmaceuticals.
Bert Moortgat, Managing Director of Aero Cargo Belgium, also spoke about the significance of the partnership: “With daily flights and expanded access to vital Asia-Pacific destinations, this agreement provides our customers with unparalleled opportunities to connect their goods to global markets, efficiently and reliably. We are especially focused on high-value, time-sensitive products, ensuring they arrive safely and on time.”
The new collaboration between Thai Airways and Aero Cargo Belgium represents a significant milestone in improving global logistics. It combines the strength of Thai Airways’ extensive network with Aero Cargo Belgium’s expertise in specialized and time-sensitive cargo, setting the stage for smoother trade routes and enhanced opportunities for industries around the world.
