4D Supply Chain Consulting announces that its “Incoterms® 2020 Made Easy – A Comprehensive E-Learning Course” has been endorsed by Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
The e-learning course, which was released in May 2020 by 4D Supply Chain Consulting (4D), provides a solid foundation in the practical application of Incoterms® 2020 rules. This interactive training is now endorsed by CILT, a logistics and transport association with over 36,000 members in 30 countries worldwide. Established in 1919, CILT is the leading professional body for everyone who works in the supply chain, logistics and transport.
This certification is not only an important step for 4D but also offers both training graduates and working professionals a world-recognized qualification in continuous professional development which sets them apart from the competition in their career development.
Due to the current pandemic-related movement restrictions, remote learning has become increasingly popular among both students and working professionals. The advantage of being able to learn independently from anywhere affords flexibility, which is a useful tool for knowledge development. 4D’s online training changes the dynamics of the supply chain and logistics training landscape, which is historically classroom-based.
The e-learning course provides a first-level understanding of Incoterms® 2020, its latest changes and associated effects on international trade. Participants will learn how to identify the Incoterms® rules best suited to their contracts and describe the fundamentals of each Incoterms® 2020 rule with respect to the roles and responsibilities of sellers and buyers. Upon completing the entire module and successfully passing the final assessment, a CILT-endorsed certificate of completion is awarded to the participant.
