Warsaw, Poland-based general sales and services agent (GSSA) 4RCargo has appointed Olga Palec-Furga as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), reinforcing the company’s strategy to strengthen leadership and expand its footprint across Eastern Europe.
Palec-Furga brings over two decades of experience in the air cargo industry, having held senior roles across airlines, GSSAs, and airports in Poland. Her appointment is aimed at enhancing operational excellence while supporting 4RCargo’s growth into new markets and solidifying its regional expertise.
Pawel Kazmierczak, Chief Executive of 4RCargo, commented on the move:
“As we enter our fifth year, we are building on the momentum achieved to date and looking to consolidate our position in the Eastern European market. Since we founded 4RCargo, we have prioritised local expertise, and this remains central to our business. Olga’s appointment reflects our commitment to combining deep regional knowledge with operational excellence as we support our airline partners with scalable, future-focused solutions.”
Driving Growth and Regional Expansion
In her new role, Palec-Furga will work closely with 4RCargo’s senior management team to drive strategic expansion while maintaining strong ties to the Eastern European air cargo market.
“4RCargo is continuing to expand as a GSSA, and I am looking forward to playing a role in shaping how the company grows in the years to come,” Palec-Furga said.
“The Eastern European air cargo market is evolving rapidly, and 4RCargo is well positioned, combining operational experience with a modern approach to GSSA operations and a strong focus on nurturing the next generation of air cargo professionals.”
This appointment follows a series of recent strategic moves by 4RCargo. In February 2026, the GSSA launched operations in the Baltic region, appointing Vladislavs Pecevics as Product Development and Regional Manager. The Baltics office, covering Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, represents the company’s expansion into Northern Europe.
Further reinforcing its regional presence, 4RCargo became Turkish Cargo’s exclusive GSSA in Slovakia in late 2025. Through a dedicated Bratislava office, the company provides customers access to Turkish Cargo’s network connecting through Vienna, Frankfurt, Linz, Munich, and Prague, before transiting the carrier’s central hub in Istanbul.
Since its establishment in 2021, 4RCargo has pursued a strategic growth strategy across Central and Eastern Europe, combining deep local market knowledge with tailored GSSA solutions for airlines seeking scalable, customer-focused representation.
Frederic Brun, Head of Commercial Cargo & Logistics at Liege Airport, summarised the significance of such appointments:
“Strong regional leadership is essential for GSSAs navigating evolving markets. 4RCargo’s focus on operational excellence and local expertise positions them well to continue expanding across Europe while supporting airlines and freight forwarders with agile, reliable services.”
