Global logistics provider Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has appointed Rahul Bhasin as the new Global Vice President of Hellmann Automotive Logistics, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening its position as a strategic logistics partner for automotive manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers worldwide.Bhasin will oversee Hellmann’s global automotive logistics operations, leading initiatives aimed at delivering sustainable, customer-centric growth across all regions. His appointment aligns with the company’s long-term strategy to expand its footprint in the automotive sector and enhance service offerings for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and key suppliers.

Extensive international experience

With more than 15 years of strategic international leadership experience in the automotive industry, Bhasin has worked across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe. His career includes advising and collaborating with leading automotive brands and consulting firms, where he played a pivotal role in market entry strategies, growth planning, and customer experience enhancement. He has also driven large-scale business development initiatives across global markets, equipping him with the expertise to scale Hellmann’s automotive logistics capabilities worldwide.In a company statement, Hellmann highlighted Bhasin’s proven ability to shape market growth strategies and operational excellence, underscoring his alignment with the company’s vision for innovation-driven logistics solutions.

Automotive logistics: a strategic growth driver

Madhav Kurup, Hellmann’s Chief Operating Officer for Air, Sea, and Contract Logistics, emphasised the importance of the automotive sector to the company’s global operations.“The automotive industry remains one of the most strategically important and innovation-driven sectors in our global portfolio,” Kurup said. “It is a key growth driver for Hellmann, and we are committed to expanding our global footprint to support our customers’ long-term success in an evolving market environment.”Bhasin will report directly to Alexandra Olvera, Hellmann’s newly appointed Chief Commercial Officer, and will work closely with regional teams to standardise operational processes, improve supply chain efficiency, and strengthen Hellmann’s value proposition for automotive clients worldwide.

As the automotive industry faces increasing demand for flexible, integrated, and sustainable logistics solutions, Hellmann aims to leverage Bhasin’s leadership to advance innovative logistics strategies, digitalisation, and environmentally responsible operations.
