Suparna Airlines has strengthened its long-haul cargo capabilities with the addition of a second Boeing 777 Freighter, further expanding the carrier’s Europe-bound network and supporting rising demand for China–Europe air logistics.
The newly inducted aircraft, registered B-227X, completed its maiden commercial flight last week. Its arrival follows the delivery of Suparna’s first 777F in September, marking an accelerated fleet expansion as the carrier builds dedicated capacity across key European gateways.
The 777F will operate Suparna’s newly launched Shanghai Pudong–Liège service, with ground handling provided by Swissport Cargo Services Belgium. “The launch of this route establishes another key logistics corridor between China and Europe, bringing new opportunities for trade and economic exchange across continents,” said the handler’s managing director for Belgium.
Liege Airport officials echoed the importance of the expanded operation. Torsten Wefers, vice president sales & marketing, said: “We are delighted to welcome Suparna Airlines’ second Boeing 777F to Liège. This milestone underscores Liège Airport’s strategic role as a premier European gateway for Chinese cargo operators. The addition of this route strengthens our position as a trusted hub for efficient, reliable and flexible logistics solutions, connecting Asia and Europe 24/7.”
Beyond Liège, FlightRadar24 data indicates the aircraft has also operated services from Nanjing and Shanghai to major cargo hubs including Amsterdam Schiphol, Riyadh, Copenhagen, Madrid and Mumbai—reflecting a robust deployment plan across both intercontinental and regional lanes.
Suparna’s two-aircraft 777F fleet is expected to significantly boost the airline’s long-haul payload capacity, supporting the carrier’s plans to deepen its presence in Europe and expand connectivity into the Middle East and South Asia.
