The appointment highlights Hong Kong’s continued importance as one of the world’s leading aviation and logistics hubs, serving as a crucial gateway for international trade. Through this partnership, Indian customers will benefit from more efficient cargo solutions, seamless connectivity, and greater access to major manufacturing, trading, and consumer markets across Asia and beyond.

Commenting on the appointment, Raymond Chen, Vice President – Commercial, Hong Kong Air Cargo, said:

“India remains a strategically important market for Hong Kong Air Cargo. Delhi, in particular, serves as a major gateway for high-value and time-sensitive shipments. We are pleased to partner with Aeroprime, whose deep market understanding, strong industry relationships, and proven cargo expertise will help us strengthen our presence and better serve customers in the region.”

Abhishek Goyal, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of Aeroprime Group, emphasized the strategic significance of the collaboration, stating:

“We are delighted to represent Hong Kong Air Cargo in Delhi. Hong Kong remains one of the most important air cargo hubs globally, offering seamless access to major manufacturing, trading, and consumption markets. This partnership reflects our continued commitment to delivering value-driven cargo solutions to the logistics community while supporting Hong Kong Air Cargo’s growth ambitions in India.”

The collaboration comes at a time when commercial ties between India and East Asia continue to expand rapidly, generating increasing demand for efficient air freight services across key industry sectors. Shipments of electronics, telecommunications equipment, pharmaceuticals, automotive components, fashion products, perishables, and cross-border e-commerce are expected to remain major growth drivers on the corridor.

By combining Hong Kong Air Cargo’s international network with Aeroprime Group’s established market presence and local expertise, the partnership is expected to deliver stronger commercial support, improved service responsiveness, and enhanced cargo solutions for India’s freight forwarding and logistics community.

The appointment also reinforces the growing importance of India as a strategic market for global cargo carriers seeking to capture rising export volumes and strengthen links with major Asian trade and manufacturing centres. With Delhi emerging as a key hub for high-value and time-critical shipments, collaborations between airlines and experienced GSSA partners are becoming increasingly vital in delivering efficient, customer-focused cargo services.
