The global aviation and logistics industry is witnessing a decisive eastward shift, driven by the rapid growth of production centers across Asia and the rise of the Middle East as a critical nexus for supply chain connectivity. Linking Asia, Africa, and Europe with North America, the region has emerged as a strategic powerhouse for multimodal transport solutions.
Reflecting this momentum, the International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has confirmed that its flagship event, the Air Cargo Forum (ACF), will expand beyond its longstanding home in Miami to establish Abu Dhabi as a second permanent location. Beginning this year, ACF will transition into an annual gathering, uniting supply chain professionals, solution providers, and global thought leaders.
Abu Dhabi Selected After Rigorous Evaluation
Following a competitive review of potential host cities across the Middle East, TIACA’s board selected Abu Dhabi for its world-class infrastructure, connectivity, and growing reputation as a logistics hub. The city’s state-of-the-art facilities, combined with strong government and industry backing, make it an ideal stage for ACF’s expansion.
More Than a Conference
The 2025 edition, scheduled for November 3–6 at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, promises a dynamic mix of business, networking, and cultural experiences. Beyond the exhibition floor and conference halls, delegates can expect a rich program of social and leisure activities — from the inaugural Etihad Golf Cup on a beachfront links course to yoga sessions, beachside networking events, and a private evening at Ferrari World.
A High-Level Agenda
The ACF conference program is designed to spark debate and deliver insights on the most pressing issues shaping the industry. Highlights include:
- Four fireside chats with senior global executives
- Two CEO roundtables tackling strategic industry challenges
- Focused sessions on digitalization, innovation, sustainability, workforce transformation, and regulatory dynamics
- A new regional spotlight on the Middle East as the “global gateway” for air cargo
In addition, the acclaimed SPOTLIGHT Stage returns, offering in-depth case studies and success stories from across the sector.
Addressing the Industry’s Big Questions
As trade flows evolve, capacity constraints shift, and regulatory frameworks grow increasingly complex, TIACA aims to position ACF as the premier forum for collective problem-solving and innovation. Delegates will gain a forward-looking perspective on the air cargo landscape while networking with peers from across the globe.
An Industry Reunion
Billed as the annual reunion for the global air cargo community, the Abu Dhabi edition is expected to draw a strong international turnout. With limited hotel capacity on Yas Island, organizers are urging participants to secure accommodations early.
