Global aircraft charter specialist Air Charter Service has continued its European expansion strategy with the opening of a new office in Stuttgart, strengthening its footprint in Germany and marking the company’s 42nd office worldwide.
The new Stuttgart branch becomes ACS’s fifth office in Germany, following recent expansions in Cologne and Munich, and reflects the company’s growing focus on key industrial and logistics markets across Europe.
Located in one of Germany’s most important economic and manufacturing regions, the new office is expected to enhance ACS’s ability to support clients operating in the automotive, industrial manufacturing, aerospace, and multinational corporate sectors, all of which maintain a strong presence in southern Germany.
According to the company, the Stuttgart operation will also reinforce relationships with existing regional customers while creating new growth opportunities across both cargo and passenger charter services.
Strategic Expansion into Southern Germany
Caroline Werf described Stuttgart as a strategically significant market for the company’s long-term development within Germany.
“Stuttgart is an important financial centre in Germany, and is the fourth largest metropolitan area in the country,” said Werf.
“The city is home to the headquarters of several major multinational corporations, including Bosch, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz.”
She added that the Stuttgart launch continues a period of sustained expansion for ACS within the German market.
“It is an exciting time for ACS in Germany, as this office becomes our fifth in the country, following the openings in Cologne last year and Munich the year before.”
Industry analysts note that Stuttgart’s concentration of automotive manufacturing, engineering, advanced technology, and export-oriented industries makes it a strategically attractive location for time-critical logistics and aircraft charter operations.
The region is widely recognised as a major European industrial hub, particularly for sectors requiring urgent transport solutions, high-value cargo movement, supply chain contingency planning, and executive travel connectivity.
Experienced Leadership for Regional Growth
The Stuttgart office will be led by Thomas Müller, who joined ACS more than five years ago after an extensive career in logistics and cargo operations within the Stuttgart region.
Prior to assuming leadership of the new office, Müller served as Cargo Business Development Director and worked closely with clients across southern Germany.
ACS said Müller’s regional expertise and established customer relationships would support the company’s plans to expand both cargo and passenger charter services in the market.
“I’m delighted to be opening this office in my native Stuttgart and building up my team here,” Müller said.
“Since joining ACS I have been dealing with many customers based in the city, and now is the time to open an office here and further grow that business.”
Growing Demand for Flexible Air Charter Solutions
The expansion comes amid continued growth in demand for flexible air charter and time-critical logistics services globally, particularly within industries facing supply chain volatility, urgent production requirements, and increasing demand for customized transport solutions.
Air charter providers have seen rising activity across sectors such as:
- Automotive logistics
- Aerospace and aviation support
- Pharmaceutical transportation
- High-value manufacturing
- Humanitarian and emergency logistics
- Executive and corporate mobility
Industry observers note that Germany remains one of Europe’s most strategically important charter markets due to its strong export economy, extensive industrial base, and central position within the European logistics network.
With the addition of Stuttgart, ACS continues to expand its international operational network while reinforcing its presence in major commercial and manufacturing centres worldwide.
The company currently operates offices across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Africa, supporting cargo charter, private jet, and group charter operations globally.
