AirBridgeCargo Airlines, part of Volga-Dnepr Group, has received the prize during the recent SVO Awards which was held on the 16th of December in Moscow (Russia). The company was acknowledged for its input in the enhancement of the airport’s cargo activities throughout 2021.
Every year Sheremetyevo International airport brings together the best airlines to summarize the results of the year and celebrate the achievements of its partners in various fields.
Denis Fisenko, General Director of AirBridgeCargo Airlines, highlighted: ‘2021 has been as complex and intense as 2020. But we kept on supporting our customers across the globe and offering them high-quality services to deliver vital cargoes.
The pandemic has changed the way things were, however, the last two years have brought the air cargo industry in the spotlight and showcased its input into the stability of global supply chains. This year together with Sheremetyevo we were actively involved in the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines and ancillary cargo and delivered over 15 million doses to various countries and regions.
Our total cargo volume carried to, from and through Sheremetyevo surpassed the mark of 240,000 tonnes which is 10% as opposed to 2020. We would like to thank the airport for its support and high evaluation of our performance’.
