Dallas, Feb. 10, 2025 – Avianca is expanding its network with the launch of a new direct route between Dallas and Bogotá, set to begin on May 26, 2025. The airline will operate four weekly flights on the new route, offering travelers increased convenience and more direct options between the U.S. and Colombia.
The new service will be operated using Avianca’s Airbus A320 aircraft, each with a capacity of 180 seats, providing a total of 1,440 seats per week. The flights will depart from Dallas on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with the following schedule:
New Route Schedule:
•Bogotá to Dallas – AV0188: Departure at 7:30 a.m., Arrival at 1:20 p.m.
•Dallas to Bogotá – AV0189: Departure at 2:50 p.m., Arrival at 8:15 p.m.

This addition marks Avianca’s ongoing commitment to providing seamless travel experiences for its customers, especially those looking to visit Colombia. Tickets for the new route are available for purchase via Avianca’s website, mobile app, the Contact Center, and through travel agencies.
Avianca already operates a variety of routes between the U.S. and Colombia, including flights from Miami, New York, and Orlando to multiple Colombian cities, further enhancing its footprint in the Americas.
