Bringer Air Cargo has marked a significant milestone in Brazil’s air logistics landscape, launching the first-ever international widebody freighter service into Navegantes Airport (NVT). The debut Boeing 767-300F flight from Miami landed on 26 November, establishing a new trade corridor between the U.S. and Santa Catarina, one of Brazil’s most dynamic import-driven regions.
The inaugural service, operated with a LATAM Airlines B767-300F under Bringer’s cargo programme, signals the start of scheduled operations, with weekly frequencies planned and the potential to increase to three or four flights per week as market demand accelerates. With a payload capacity of up to 50 tonnes, the aircraft will significantly enhance the flow of high-value and time-critical cargo into Brazil’s southern industrial belt.
Transforming Navegantes into a Widebody-Capable Cargo Gateway
Bringer’s entry into Navegantes is the culmination of a long-term infrastructure and regulatory project launched in 2019. Working in partnership with Motiva Airports and PACLOG Cargo Terminals, the carrier spearheaded a series of technical, operational, and safety assessments that paved the way for the airport’s first widebody operations.
These efforts resulted in major airside improvements, including a runway extension, expanded safety zones, and upgraded parking and maneuvering areas designed to handle widebody aircraft. The enhancements position NVT as a stronger logistics hub capable of supporting regional manufacturers, e-commerce flows, and multinational supply chains.
A Strategic Boost for Brazil’s Southern Supply Chain
Navegantes Airport sits at the heart of Santa Catarina’s industrial and commercial ecosystem—home to automotive, machinery, textiles, electronics, and consumer goods sectors that rely heavily on international air freight. The new MIA–NVT service will shorten transit times, increase cargo reliability, and provide shippers with direct access to one of Brazil’s most active import markets.
“This flight represents more than a new route—it’s a symbol of perseverance, collaboration, and our commitment to connecting markets with greater efficiency,” Bringer Air Cargo said in a statement.
Strengthening Regional Connectivity
A member of ICH and part of the Bringer Corporation Group, Bringer Air Cargo has been a driving force in international air freight since 1983. The launch of the Miami–Navegantes route extends the carrier’s footprint across Latin America and underscores its commitment to offering scalable, high-performance cross-border logistics solutions.
As demand for agile, well-connected cargo networks continues to grow across the Americas, Bringer’s pioneering operation at NVT sets a new standard—positioning southern Brazil firmly on the map for future widebody freighter expansion.
