CEVA Logistics is reinforcing its role in supporting the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific region by delivering integrated supply chain solutions for AirTrunk’s hyperscale data center developments in Australia and Malaysia.
The logistics specialist is providing comprehensive end-to-end services for AirTrunk’s major facilities in Western Sydney, Australia, and Johor Bahru, Malaysia—two strategic locations that are set to play a critical role in meeting the increasing demand for AI computing, cloud services, and data-intensive technologies across the region.
Founded in Australia in 2015, AirTrunk has emerged as a leading hyperscale data center provider, offering scalable digital infrastructure for global cloud and AI customers across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions. Its Sydney campus ranks among Australia’s largest hyperscale data center facilities, while its Johor Bahru campuses are designed to support Southeast Asia’s rapidly growing digital economy.
End-to-End Logistics Supporting Critical Digital Infrastructure
CEVA Logistics is managing a broad range of supply chain operations for AirTrunk, including warehousing, domestic transportation, customs clearance, and integrated project management across both Australia and Malaysia.
The company has successfully completed the initial six-month phase of the Sydney infrastructure project and has now expanded its support to the Johor Bahru development. The projects involve highly specialized logistics operations, including the handling, storage, and transportation of oversized and heavy-lift equipment such as 45-ton generators, large-scale air-cooling towers, and essential climate control systems.
By coordinating complex, multi-site operations throughout the construction phase, CEVA ensures that critical infrastructure components are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to demanding project schedules.
Leveraging Multimodal Logistics Networks Across APAC
With a strong operational footprint throughout Asia-Pacific and access to a global network of approximately 1,700 logistics facilities, CEVA integrates contract logistics with air freight, ocean freight, and ground transportation services to facilitate seamless cross-border movement of critical equipment.
This multimodal approach allows cargo to be efficiently received, stored, staged, and delivered to project sites, supporting the development of next-generation digital infrastructure that will power AI-driven innovation and cloud computing growth.
Guy Meredith, Vice President of Contract Logistics, APAC at CEVA Logistics, said the acceleration of AI technologies is creating unprecedented supply chain requirements linked to the rapid construction of data centers worldwide.
“As AI adoption continues to expand, we are witnessing significant growth in logistics demand driven by the increasing number of data center projects across Asia-Pacific and globally. Leveraging our extensive APAC network and the support of 1,700 sites worldwide, CEVA remains committed to providing reliable, end-to-end supply chain solutions for customers across technology, industrial, consumer, and other key sectors,” Meredith said.
Daniel Checchin, Associate Vice President of Supply Chain & Procurement at AirTrunk, highlighted the importance of reliable logistics partnerships in delivering hyperscale infrastructure at speed.
“Building hyperscale data centers requires complete confidence in every aspect of the supply chain—from international transportation of critical equipment to secure storage, staging, and final delivery. CEVA’s end-to-end logistics expertise, strong local execution, and proactive coordination have played an important role in supporting our Western Sydney campus, enabling the safe and predictable movement of essential infrastructure components,” Checchin said.
Enabling the Next Generation of AI and Cloud Growth
The collaboration between CEVA Logistics and AirTrunk highlights the increasingly important role of advanced logistics solutions in supporting the global expansion of AI infrastructure and cloud computing ecosystems.
As demand for hyperscale data centers continues to rise, integrated logistics, heavy-lift expertise, and multimodal transport capabilities will be essential to ensuring the timely delivery of complex infrastructure projects across international markets.
Through its combination of contract logistics, air, ocean, and ground transport services, CEVA Logistics is positioning itself as a strategic partner for large-scale technology infrastructure projects, helping enable the digital transformation of industries across the Asia-Pacific region.
