The partnership aims to position Tashkent as a cargo hub bridging East and West, adding to My Freighter’s growing list of interline agreements this year

  • My Freighter has signed an interline agreement with Air Serbia to expand its global cargo connectivity.
  • The partnership will enhance network access, streamline routing options, and improve cargo efficiency across Europe and beyond.
  • This move supports My Freighter’s strategic goal of establishing Tashkent as a key cargo hub linking East and West.

Uzbekistan-based cargo carrier My Freighter has strengthened its international reach through a newly signed interline agreement with Air Serbia, further advancing its strategy to position Tashkent as a key cargo gateway between East and West.

The partnership, announced via the airline’s official LinkedIn channel earlier this week, will enable My Freighter to tap into Air Serbia’s expanding global network. The Serbian national carrier currently operates flights from Belgrade to more than 60 destinations worldwide, offering enhanced connectivity across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

In a statement, My Freighter said the agreement marks an important milestone in its network development.
“This partnership enhances our ability to provide customers with broader network access, optimized routing options, and more efficient cargo solutions across Europe and beyond,” the airline noted.
By integrating its operations with Air Serbia, My Freighter added that it is reinforcing its mission to elevate Tashkent as a dynamic cargo hub linking major global markets.

The agreement with Air Serbia builds on a year of accelerated network expansion for My Freighter. Over the past months, the carrier has secured multiple interline partnerships, including:

  • Biman Bangladesh Airlines, establishing a new corridor between Bangladesh and Central Asia.
  • Icelandair Cargo, enabling enhanced cargo flows between Central Asia, Europe, and North America.
  • Aeromexico, opening improved access between Mexico and Central Asia.

These collaborations are part of My Freighter’s long-term strategy to broaden its footprint and support the rising demand for cross-regional cargo movements.

Air Serbia brings a mixed fleet of 29 passenger aircraft, comprising ATR 72 turboprops, Airbus A319/A320/A330 models, and Boeing 737-300s—assets that bolster its cargo-carrying capability through belly-hold capacity across an extensive passenger network.

My Freighter, meanwhile, continues to build out its dedicated freighter fleet. The carrier now operates eight Boeing 767-300 freighters—seven converted from passenger aircraft and one factory-built—as well as a Boeing 757-200P2F added earlier this year. It also maintains a passenger fleet of seven Airbus A319, A320, and A321 aircraft, supporting both passenger and cargo operations.

The interline agreement with Air Serbia further positions My Freighter to capture growing cargo flows between Europe, Central Asia, and emerging global markets, solidifying its role as one of the region’s most ambitious and rapidly expanding cargo airlines.
