Uzbekistan-Based Cargo Carrier Expands Commercial Reach as It Builds Network Connectivity Between Israel, Central Asia, Europe and China
Uzbekistan’s fast-growing cargo airline My Freighter has appointed MF Cargo as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Israel, marking another strategic step in the carrier’s international expansion plans. The partnership is expected to enhance cargo connectivity between Israel and key markets across Central Asia, Europe and Asia while strengthening the airline’s commercial footprint in a region that continues to play an important role in global supply chains.
My Freighter has announced the appointment of MF Cargo as its official General Sales Agent (GSA) in Israel, reinforcing the carrier’s commitment to expanding its global commercial network and strengthening customer engagement in strategically important markets.
The appointment comes as the Uzbekistan-based cargo airline accelerates its international growth strategy, supported by fleet expansion, new route launches and a widening network of commercial partnerships across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
According to the carrier, MF Cargo will oversee cargo sales activities, customer support functions and market development initiatives in Israel. The GSA will also focus on generating new business opportunities across trade lanes linking Israel with Central Asia, Europe, China and other destinations served by the airline’s expanding network.
In an official announcement, My Freighter stated that the partnership represents an important milestone in strengthening its presence within the Israeli market while providing enhanced support to customers, freight forwarders and logistics partners throughout the region.
The move reflects growing demand for alternative cargo corridors connecting Israel with emerging markets in Central Asia. As global supply chains continue to diversify, airlines are increasingly seeking to establish stronger commercial representation in regional markets that offer access to manufacturing, e-commerce and transshipment opportunities.
Israel remains a significant air cargo market, driven by high-value exports including pharmaceuticals, electronics, perishables and technology products. Enhanced connectivity between Israel and Central Asia is expected to create additional opportunities for freight forwarders seeking flexible routing solutions between Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
The latest appointment also follows a broader commercial expansion programme undertaken by My Freighter across Europe. Earlier this year, ECS Group expanded its cooperation with the airline through its Globe Air Cargo subsidiaries in France, the Netherlands and Belgium, providing sales and marketing support in several key European markets. The initiative has enabled My Freighter to strengthen market penetration and develop cargo flows between Europe and Central Asia.
Industry observers note that the airline’s rapid commercial growth is being supported by an increasingly diversified route network. In recent months, My Freighter has introduced new services connecting Asian markets with Frankfurt Airport while also announcing scheduled cargo operations linking Hong Kong and Maastricht via its hub in Tashkent. These developments have positioned the carrier as an emerging player in cargo transportation between Asia and Europe.
Fleet expansion has also played a central role in the airline’s growth trajectory. In April, My Freighter added another Boeing 767-300BDSF freighter to its fleet, further increasing its operational capacity. The carrier now operates a fleet comprising nine Boeing 767 freighters and one Boeing 757-200 freighter, providing the flexibility required to support growing demand across regional and long-haul cargo markets.
The appointment of MF Cargo is expected to support the airline’s ambitions to capture additional market share in the Middle East while creating stronger commercial links between Israel and destinations across its network. As trade volumes continue to evolve and supply chains seek greater diversification, strategic GSA partnerships remain a critical component of airline expansion strategies.
For My Freighter, the latest development underscores its continued transformation from a regional operator into a broader international cargo airline with growing influence across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
