Rhenus Group has been awarded the prestigious EcoVadis Platinum Medal, marking a major milestone in the company’s journey toward stronger sustainability performance and demonstrating its commitment to embedding ESG principles across its global logistics operations.
The Platinum distinction, the highest rating available from EcoVadis, was achieved with a score of 91 out of 100, reflecting comprehensive improvements across all four assessed themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics (including Compliance & Information Security), and Sustainable Procurement. This achievement represents a significant upgrade from the company’s previous medal level and underscores the depth of Rhenus’ commitment to responsible business practices.
A key driver behind the recognition was the publication of Rhenus Group’s first Sustainability Report, which consolidates group-wide policies, evidence and performance metrics in alignment with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. The report provides transparency on the company’s initiatives and progress, offering a clear framework for governance and sustainable operations.
