  • Saudia Cargo and the Saudi Export Development Authority have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen the competitiveness of Saudi-made products and expand their presence in international markets.
  • Announced during the “Made in Saudi 2025” exhibition in Riyadh, the agreement focuses on empowering Saudi exporters, streamlining logistics, developing joint marketing initiatives, and opening new export horizons.
  • The collaboration reinforces Saudia Cargo’s key role in supporting the Kingdom’s economic vision — building on initiatives such as its “BEYOND” campaign to enhance the global visibility of national industries.

Saudia Cargo has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports) to enhance the international competitiveness of Saudi-made products and expand their access to global markets. The agreement underscores a shared commitment to supporting the Saudi Made programme and accelerating the growth of national industries through integrated logistics and export development initiatives.

The MoU builds on the existing cooperation between the two organisations and reflects a unified approach to positioning Saudi products as preferred choices across international markets. By aligning air cargo capabilities with export development strategies, the partnership aims to remove trade bottlenecks, improve speed to market and create new pathways for sustainable export growth.

The agreement was signed during the Made in Saudi 2025 exhibition, held in Riyadh from December 15 to 17. The event brought together industrial, commercial and government stakeholders with the objective of attracting investment, strengthening partnerships and opening new export opportunities, in line with the Kingdom’s broader efforts to diversify its economy and boost non-oil exports.

Focus on Exporter Empowerment and Logistics Enablement

Central to the MoU is a focus on empowering Saudi exporters by strengthening their global presence and addressing logistical and regulatory challenges that can hinder international trade. The collaboration will prioritise the streamlining of export processes, facilitation of cross-border logistics and acceleration of export operations to improve overall efficiency.

Both parties will also work jointly on capacity-building initiatives and analytical studies to identify growth markets, optimise supply chains and develop innovative shipping and logistics solutions tailored to the evolving needs of Saudi exporters. These initiatives are designed to support exporters at various stages of international expansion, from market entry to scale-up.

Saudia Cargo’s global air freight network is expected to play a pivotal role in enabling faster, more reliable access to overseas markets, particularly for high-value, time-sensitive and industrial shipments.

Joint Promotion and International Market Visibility

Beyond operational collaboration, the MoU provides a framework for coordinated participation in international exhibitions and trade events aimed at enhancing the global visibility of Saudi products. The partnership also includes the development of joint marketing and promotional campaigns to highlight the quality, reliability and competitiveness of Saudi-made goods in established and emerging markets.

By integrating logistics expertise with export promotion, Saudia Cargo and Saudi Exports aim to unlock new commercial horizons for national products and strengthen their positioning within global supply chains.

Supporting Vision 2030 Objectives

The collaboration reinforces Saudia Cargo’s role as a key enabler of Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation by facilitating the efficient and reliable movement of national products to international destinations. It directly supports Vision 2030 objectives focused on economic diversification, export growth and the development of globally competitive industries.

The MoU also builds on earlier initiatives, including Saudia Cargo’s BEYOND campaign launched earlier this year, which seeks to enhance international awareness of Saudi exports and improve market access in line with national priorities.

Through this strategic partnership, Saudia Cargo and Saudi Exports are positioning logistics excellence, air connectivity and coordinated global promotion as central pillars in advancing the Kingdom’s export ecosystem and expanding the worldwide presence of Saudi Made products.
