World Freight Company (WFC) announced that as of November 23, 2020, Sebastiaan Scholte will start as CEO of Kales Group, one of the industry’s leading General Sales & Service Agents (GSSA’s). Sebastiaan Scholte will take over from Dirk Hazenoot, who decided to step down after having worked for almost 20 years for the company, of which the last 2 years as CEO.
“I want to thank Dirk for all his years of hard work and dedication, helping to grow Kales Group to become one of the leading GSSA’s in the world”, said Vikram Singh, group CEO of WFC, who owns Kales Group.
“Sebastiaan will bring with him a wealth of relevant experience and expertise in the airline and logistics industry”, commented Vikram Singh. “We are happy to have him on board to lead the organization successfully”
Scholte has over 20 years of experience in different senior management roles in Aeromexico cargo and Cargolux Airlines and as CEO of Jan de Rijk Logistics. He has been chairman of the Cool Chain Association and has been a board member and chairman of TIACA.
