“It has been terrific to see so many remarkable submissions for this year’s Air Cargo Sustainability Awards. I’d like to thank the jury for their unwavering commitment in reviewing all of the entries. I would also like to congratulate the worthy winners of the corporate and the Start-Up and Small Business awards,” said Chris McDermott, CEO CHAMP Cargosystems.

After the independent results were tabulated TIACA is pleased to announce the winner in the corporate category is LATAM Cargo for its  Necessary Destination program which is a comprehensive and robust compendium of initiatives that aim to drive sustainable development in South America through three fundamental pillars: Climate Change, Circular Economy and Shared Value.

The Start-Up and Small Business category recognizes and encourages young growing businesses as well as small businesses building their presence in the air cargo industry and contributing to its sustainability transformation.  The jury selected three organizations as finalists in this category and each presented their initiative during the Executive Summit where the live audience selected the ultimate winner.

Regent Craft has won the Start-up/Small Business award for the 2023 edition of the Sustainability Awards and will receive a cash prize of USD 10,000.

“After reviewing all of the entries, the level of innovation and thought that has been put into making air cargo more sustainable truly gives me hope. I must congratulate all who have worked so hard to meet the call for a sustainable future. I would also like to thank the jury members for their time and dedication in reviewing the entries and the results of their deliberations.

And of course, it gives me great pleasure to congratulate LATAM Cargo for being selected as the overall Corporate Winner and Regent Craft as the Start-up/Small Business winner.  I thank everyone who participated in the awards for sharing their work and look forward to getting information out there on all of the good work the industry is doing to become more sustainable.” Stated Steven Polmans, TIACA Chair
