Swissport has appointed Iván Nash Vila as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Leadership Team. With the appointment and the recent nomination of Christopher Rayner as the company’s Chief HR Officer, Swissport completes the renewal of its Executive Leadership Team following its new shareholder structure.
Iván Nash Vila will be joining Swissport International AG as Chief Financial Officer for the group and become a member of the Executive Leadership Team on 1 October 2021. He succeeds Dr. Alexander Gradow, Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, who had been acting as interim Chief Financial Officer since August. Mr. Nash Vila will report to Warwick Brady, President & CEO of Swissport International AG.

He draws on years of international management experience and, with his background, is ideally equipped for this role and the future development of Swissport.”
Mr. Nash Vila previously served as CFO of Endemol Shine Group in Amsterdam, Netherlands until its sale to an industry player. Prior to that he was with Liberty Global plc. in several senior roles, most recently as CFO for Switzerland, Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. In Liberty Global plc (LGI), Mr. Nash Vila also served as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions and Head of Group Financial Planning and Investor Relations Europe. He started at LGI following the sale of Cablecom, Switzerland’s largest cable operator where he was Head of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations, to LGI. He holds an MBA from the London Business School and a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
