Embraer, a global leader in aerospace, is set to spotlight its cutting-edge defense aircraft and solutions at IDEX 2025. Among the key features at the event are the C-390 Millennium multi-mission military transport aircraft and the A-29 Super Tucano light attack and reconnaissance aircraft, both of which are praised for their performance and versatility.

The C-390 Millennium, a next-generation aircraft from Embraer, is redefining military transport with its ability to carry up to 26 tons of cargo at speeds of 470 knots, reaching farther distances than traditional medium-sized aircraft. Designed for versatility, it handles a wide variety of missions, from air logistics and troop transportation to medical evacuations, search and rescue, and even firefighting. Notably, the C-390 can operate from unpaved or makeshift runways and, when equipped with air-to-air refueling systems, can function as both a tanker and a receiver.

With over 16,000 flight hours logged, the C-390 boasts an impressive 93% mission capability rate and a 99% mission completion rate. Recently, the aircraft was selected by Sweden and Slovakia, further solidifying its global appeal. Other nations already operating the C-390 include South Korea, the Netherlands, Austria, and Brazil.
Meanwhile, the A-29 Super Tucano continues to lead the world in light military aircraft, excelling in the most demanding conditions. This multi-role aircraft is equipped with a state-of-the-art weapon system and is ideal for reconnaissance, close air support, border surveillance, and advanced training. Its ability to operate from unpaved airstrips in harsh environments makes it a favorite among armed forces. With more than 290 orders and over 580,000 flight hours—including 60,000 combat hours—the Super Tucano is proven in real-world operations. Recent sales to the Portuguese, Uruguayan, and Paraguayan Air Forces further emphasize its global success.
