Global ULD solutions provider ACL Airshop has entered into a strategic long-term agreement with IndiGo, India’s largest airline, to deliver comprehensive Unit Load Device (ULD) management and logistics services across the carrier’s expanding cargo and passenger operations.
The multi-year partnership marks ACL Airshop’s formal entry into the Indian aviation market and represents a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy. Under the agreement, ACL Airshop will supply, manage, and maintain IndiGo’s growing ULD fleet to support current capacity and future growth. The collaboration will also provide access to ACL’s worldwide inventory, short-term leasing options, and cutting-edge ULD tracking technologies.
“We are very pleased to announce this strategic partnership with one of the world’s fastest-growing airlines,” said Bernhard Kindelbacher, CEO of ACL Airshop. “This collaboration not only reinforces our position as a global leader in ULD management services but also allows us to support IndiGo wherever their growth journey takes them.”
IndiGo, which has been rapidly scaling both its domestic and international operations, sees the partnership as a vital enabler of its operational efficiency and cargo capabilities.
“As our requirement for ULDs grows, we are delighted to be partnering with ACL Airshop,” said Mark Sutch, Chief Commercial Officer – Cargo at IndiGo. “We appreciate their ability to respond quickly and efficiently to our needs and are impressed that they were fully operational within just two months.”
The agreement includes full maintenance and repair services for IndiGo’s ULDs, integration with ACL’s global logistics infrastructure, and deployment of next-generation digital tools for real-time asset tracking. These enhancements are expected to streamline cargo handling processes, improve asset utilization, and reduce turnaround times across IndiGo’s network.
As India continues to emerge as a major hub in global air cargo and aviation, this partnership positions both companies to benefit from increasing demand for agile, tech-enabled logistics solutions. For ACL Airshop, the alliance cements its presence in one of the world’s most dynamic aviation markets, while IndiGo gains a scalable, future-ready logistics partner to support its growth trajectory.
