DHL Supply Chain has announced the appointment of Martin Willmor as its new Chief Executive Officer for the UK and Ireland, effective 1 October 2025. He succeeds Saul Resnick, who is stepping down from the role to pursue opportunities outside the DHL Group.

Willmor will report directly to Hendrik Venter, CEO, DHL Supply Chain, and brings more than two decades of experience within the DHL Group, having built a career that spans operations, digital innovation, and strategic leadership across multiple business units and regions.

A Proven Leader from Within the DHL Family

Martin Willmor currently serves as CEO of DigiHaul, DHL’s digital freight platform designed to simplify and automate carrier and load management. Under his leadership, DigiHaul has evolved into one of the Group’s key digital ventures, streamlining tender management, haulier integration, and subcontractor coordination to deliver more efficient road transport operations across the UK and Europe.

Since taking the helm at DigiHaul in 2021, Willmor has led its successful international expansion into four markets and driven consistent, double-digit growth.

Having joined DHL in 2002, Willmor’s two-decade journey includes senior roles that have combined operational expertise with customer-focused innovation. He was appointed Vice President of Passenger Gateways in 2013 and later became Managing Director for Supply Chain Solutions in 2017 — roles that allowed him to shape large-scale logistics strategies for diverse industry sectors.

Leadership Transition and Strategic Continuity

Announcing the appointment, Hendrik Venter, CEO, DHL Supply Chain, said:

“Martin has a proven track record of driving sustainable growth, innovation, and customer excellence. His deep industry knowledge, strategic mindset, and strong leadership make him exceptionally well positioned to lead DHL Supply Chain UKI into its next chapter.

“At the same time, I would like to sincerely thank Saul for his outstanding leadership and contributions. He has strengthened customer experience and employee engagement, enhanced financial performance, and laid the foundations for future growth. We wish him every success in his next endeavours.”

Building on Strong Foundations

Reflecting on his new role, Martin Willmor said:

“I am honoured to be taking on this role. Having grown my career within DHL, I know first-hand the dedication and talent of our people. Together, we will continue to build on our strong foundations — delivering exceptional service to our customers and continuing to lead the market by example. I am excited to shape the next phase of our journey in the UK and Ireland.”

A Strategic Step Forward

The leadership change marks the start of a new chapter for DHL Supply Chain UK & Ireland, one of the logistics giant’s largest and most diverse regional operations. The business has played a pivotal role in DHL’s global success, serving a wide spectrum of industries — from retail, technology, and life sciences to automotive and e-commerce.

With Willmor at the helm, DHL Supply Chain is expected to continue accelerating its digitalisation agenda, sustainability goals, and operational excellence initiatives, ensuring it remains a leader in an increasingly competitive and technology-driven logistics landscape.
