Korean Air and its India general sales agent, Group Concorde, have marked 15 years of strategic partnership, underlining their shared commitment to strengthening both passenger and cargo connectivity from the Indian market. The milestone reflects a collaboration that has supported network expansion, trade facilitation and sustained growth across multiple aviation segments.
To commemorate the anniversary, Group Concorde, in partnership with Korean Air, hosted a gala evening in Gurugram on December 19, bringing together key travel trade partners, cargo stakeholders and industry representatives. The event reaffirmed Group Concorde’s role as Korean Air’s General Sales Agent (GSA) in India and highlighted the airline’s long-term confidence in the country’s rapidly expanding aviation and logistics ecosystem.
The evening served as a platform to showcase Korean Air’s passenger and cargo strategies, network strength and growth plans from India, backed by Group Concorde’s deep market knowledge, trade engagement and distribution capabilities. Discussions centred on enhancing connectivity, supporting cross-border trade and delivering integrated air cargo solutions aligned with evolving shipper requirements.
Addressing the gathering, Son Dae Seon, Country Manager, Korean Air, emphasised the strategic importance of India within the airline’s global network. He noted that the long-standing collaboration with Group Concorde has enabled Korean Air to combine strong local market expertise with its extensive international reach, ensuring reliable connectivity, an improved customer experience and robust cargo services that support trade flows between India and key global markets.
Prithviraj Chug, CEO of Group Concorde, described the relationship as one built on trust and shared ambition rather than simple representation. He highlighted the company’s focus on staying closely aligned with the trade, understanding changing customer needs and driving sustainable growth across both passenger and cargo businesses. As India’s aviation and logistics landscape continues to expand, he said, the partnership is well-positioned to deepen further and unlock new opportunities in the years ahead.
