AeroNet, the France-based manufacturer of certified cargo restraint systems, is celebrating 30 years of operations, marking three decades of supporting the global air transport and defence sectors with safety-critical solutions designed for commercial aviation and military applications.

Founded in 1996 by Dominique Coatmellec, the family-owned company began its journey by manufacturing its first 20-foot air cargo pallets, entering a market where reliability, safety and compliance are essential to global freight operations. Two years later, AeroNet expanded its capabilities with the launch of its air cargo net production, establishing the foundation of its long-term expertise in cargo securing and restraint technologies.

Over the past three decades, AeroNet has expanded its product portfolio to include certified aircraft pallets, cargo nets, restraint straps, stopper systems and customised solutions designed to meet the operational requirements of airlines, logistics providers and defence organisations worldwide.

The company has grown from a specialist manufacturer into an international partner serving customers across the commercial aviation and defence sectors. AeroNet now operates through production facilities and regional branches across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America, supporting customers globally while maintaining control over engineering, manufacturing and certification processes.

The company said its continued growth has been driven by a focus on product quality, rigorous testing standards and compliance with aviation requirements. Its solutions are designed to improve cargo safety, operational efficiency and long-term value for customers across the air transport ecosystem.

“As a family-owned company, reaching 30 years is a moment of great pride,” said Ludovic Coatmellec, CEO of AeroNet. “From our first pallet in 1996 to supporting commercial airlines and defence forces today, our focus has always been clear: safety, efficiency and trusted long-term partnerships. We thank our customers, partners and teams who have been part of this journey.”

As AeroNet enters its fourth decade, the company said it will continue investing in innovation, certified quality and customer-focused solutions to support the changing needs of the global air cargo and defence industries.

With air freight operations becoming increasingly complex and demand for secure, efficient cargo handling continuing to grow, AeroNet aims to build on its experience while developing next-generation restraint solutions for future aviation requirements.
