Global Critical Logistics (GCL) has announced the appointment of Amanda Barlow as Vice President of Risk Management and Business Affairs. Barlow, who previously served as Senior Vice President with Roanoke Insurance Group, joined GCL today, October 2nd, bringing with her a wealth of experience to support the continuing growth of the GCL family of brands.
She will provide leadership in managing the group’s various insurance programs and spearhead development and coordination of the company’s global ATA Carnet programs to promote future growth and provide subject matter expertise across the company’s brands.
“Amanda has her finger on the pulse of the industry and boasts an impressive portfolio of expertise in client experience and product development that we are keen to leverage,” said Daniel Rosenthal, President, and Chief Executive Officer, GCL.
“She is also uniquely suited to lead our ATA Carnet program as she was directly involved in the development of the U.S.’ ATA Carnet program during her time with Roanoke, liaising with the U.S. Council for International Business.”
In addition to her new role at GCL, Barlow is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Air forwarders Association (AFA) and chairs AFA’s Technology and Cybersecurity Committee.
Barlow also sits on the U.S. Department of Commerce’s District Export Council of Southern California, where she supports the U.S. Government’s export promotion efforts.
