Avianca has announced the appointment of Otto Gergye as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), marking a strategic move to strengthen the airline’s commercial operations and customer-centric approach. Gergye brings over two decades of experience in the aviation and tourism industries, with a strong background in commercial planning, sales, and revenue management.
With a career spanning multiple continents, Gergye has held leadership positions at prominent airlines and aviation companies, including Thai Airways, Qantas, Fiji Airways, Air Berlin, British Airways, Amadeus, and KLM. His expertise lies in developing innovative strategies that drive growth while enhancing the customer experience.
