Delta Cargo has entered into a strategic partnership with CargoAi to expand its digital capabilities and enhance connectivity with freight forwarders across global markets, reflecting a broader industry push toward data-driven, real-time cargo operations.

The agreement, formalised by Delta Cargo President Peter Penseel and CargoAi CEO Matthieu Petot, sets the framework for integrating Delta Cargo’s network into CargoAi’s digital ecosystem. The collaboration is designed to improve rate transparency and introduce eBooking functionality, enabling forwarders to access, compare, and secure capacity more efficiently.

At its core, the partnership will see Delta Cargo leverage CargoAi’s platform to provide enhanced rate visibility, allowing users to view real-time pricing and availability across its network. The addition of eBooking capabilities is expected to streamline the booking process, reducing manual workflows and improving speed-to-market for time-sensitive shipments.

The move aligns with ongoing digital transformation efforts across the air cargo sector, where airlines and logistics providers are increasingly investing in platforms that deliver seamless connectivity, automation, and data transparency. For freight forwarders, improved digital access to airline capacity has become a critical requirement amid fluctuating demand patterns and evolving supply chain expectations.

While the integration marks a significant step forward, both companies indicated that the rollout will follow a phased approach. The official go-live timeline has yet to be confirmed and will be announced through their respective communication channels.

The partnership underscores a shared commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions, positioning both Delta Cargo and CargoAi to better respond to the growing demand for agile, digitally enabled air freight services.

As the industry continues to modernise, collaborations of this nature are expected to play a central role in shaping the next generation of air cargo distribution and booking systems.
