Delta Cargo believes that global airlines play a significant role in disrupting the supply chain of illegal wildlife trade and we are committed to doing our part. We are happy to announce that we have signed the Buckingham Palace Declaration and joined United for Wildlife’s Transport Taskforce.
United for Wildlife is a global collaboration of organizations working to protect endangered species and combat illegal wildlife trading and trafficking through increasing awareness, strengthening cross-sector collaboration, and supporting on-the-ground conservation efforts. The Transport Taskforce under United for Wildlife joins various transportation industry stakeholders to prevent illegal wildlife products from being trafficked across borders. As a member of the Transport Taskforce, Delta Cargo will implement 11 commitments to animal welfare and conservation, including adopting a zero-tolerance policy regarding illegal wildlife trade and increasing awareness of the nature, scale, and consequences of illegal wildlife trade.
