DHL Supply Chain has announced the appointment of Marion Taylor-Ringsell as vice president of Operations, UK&I.
Marion brings with her 26 years experience in the logistics industry, both in-house and in 3PLs, covering domestic and international operations across a varied product range including small parcel, retail, automotive and industrial.
Marion joins from Gap Inc. where, as director of European Transportation, she was focused on creating and developing Europe retail, franchise, and e-commerce markets including inbound air/ocean, outbound store delivery, B2B/B2C parcel operations, franchise turnover, compliance, and brand operations.
In her new role, Marion will manage DHL Supply Chain’s Asset Management Centre of Excellence (AMCOE) with responsibility for vehicle procurement, fuel purchasing, compliance, engineering, and facilities maintenance.
Commenting on her appointment, Marion said, “I’m thrilled to be taking on this role at a critical time for the logistics sector, as we emerge from a period of unprecedented instability.
