Organised by Air Cargo Community Frankfurt, the two-day conference will be held on 2–3 September 2026 at the Congress Center Messe Frankfurt, bringing together airline executives, airport operators, freight forwarders, logistics providers, technology companies and policymakers to examine the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of air cargo. The conference comes at a time when the air cargo industry is witnessing a significant transformation, with AI-related semiconductor shipments emerging as one of the strongest drivers of global air freight demand.
Recent industry analyses by the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA), Dimerco Express Group and Xenetaindicate that high-value AI hardware and semiconductor shipments are increasingly replacing e-commerce as the primary consumer of air cargo capacity on several Asian trade lanes. Load factors on Asia–US routes have approached 90%, while demand for time-sensitive technology products continues to support freight volumes despite broader economic uncertainty.
Industry experts believe these market shifts will form an important backdrop to discussions in Frankfurt, particularly around network planning, capacity management and digitalisation.
