Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has entered into a strategic global technology partnership with cargo.one, marking a significant step in the freight forwarder’s digital transformation and its long-term strategy to enhance air cargo procurement, pricing accuracy, and customer experience.
Under the partnership, Hellmann will integrate a comprehensive suite of cargo.one technologies into its global operations, including Advanced Rate Management, Quotes API, Live Estimates, and cargo.one pro. These solutions will be embedded into Hellmann’s proprietary systems, including its ‘HITS’ quotation platform, fully integrated with the CargoWise One TMS.
The collaboration aims to streamline procurement workflows, strengthen data foundations, and improve rate visibility—key elements in an air freight market that has become increasingly complex due to volatile capacity, fluctuating rates, and rising customer demands for speed and transparency.
With cargo.one’s Advanced Rate Management, Hellmann now gains end-to-end oversight of buy and sell rates, local charges, and trucking costs, enabling precision-driven pricing decisions. The unified digital infrastructure replaces multiple legacy tools, granting teams a single source of truth for rate and cost data. This empowers staff to handle intricate pricing and routing scenarios more efficiently while offering customers highly accurate, competitive pricing.
The partnership also enables Hellmann to conduct structured, data-driven evaluations of its global procurement performance—strengthening its responsiveness and enhancing win rates in competitive markets.
