Uzbekistan-based all-cargo airline My Freighter has launched a new direct service connecting Tashkent and Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH), further strengthening air cargo links between Central Asia and Eastern China.
The inaugural flight, operated on July 1, 2025, carried over 50 tonnes of cargo, including daily consumer goods, textiles, and high-value shipments. The service was operated using a Boeing 767-300 freighter, registered UK67021.
According to operational data shared by the airline and confirmed via Flightradar24, the aircraft departed Tashkent at approximately 17:25 hrs and arrived in Hangzhou at around 02:50 hrs, with a total flight time of 6 hours and 25 minutes. The return leg took off from Hangzhou at 05:29 hrs on July 2 and landed back in Tashkent at 09:22 hrs.
In a LinkedIn announcement, My Freighter described the new route as a strategic milestone in its efforts to develop efficient, reliable, and faster cargo solutions between China and Uzbekistan. The addition of Hangzhou expands the carrier’s growing Chinese network, which already includes major freight hubs such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Macau.
“This direct connection to Hangzhou reinforces our commitment to facilitating trade between Central Asia and China,” the airline stated. “We continue to expand our network to support our partners with smarter, faster logistics solutions.”
The launch comes amid broader expansion plans for My Freighter, which is preparing to roll out scheduled freighter services from multiple Chinese cities to Tashkent in the near future. The airline also recently signed an interline agreement with Biman Bangladesh Airlines, enhancing its cargo connectivity across South and Central Asia.
My Freighter’s move into Hangzhou, one of China’s prominent manufacturing and e-commerce hubs, positions the carrier to tap into the region’s export-driven economy and increasing demand for reliable air freight capacity across the Belt and Road corridor.
