Peli BioThermal’s has added a new bulk shipper to its production range in the shape of CoolPall Flex.
The temperature-controlled packaging firm said the innovative system is a “unique, customisable range offering optimised solutions and high performance thermal protection” for the global transportation of payloads for pharmaceutical and life sciences applications.
The system is an enhanced extension of the superior technologies and benefits from Peli BioThermal’s successful Crēdo, Chronos and CoolPall line.
An additional benefit is that the CoolPall Flex provides excellent payload efficiency on aircraft with more constrained cargo spaces.
Peli BioThermal’s director of sales EMEA, Paul Terry said: “We are thrilled to announce the availability of our new CoolPall Flex system. It is a superior, sophisticated system that is easy to configure with single or double coolant pods.
“Flex’s common components makes the system user friendly and simple to construct. This means it’s incredibly quick and easy to build and can be fully assembled in under two minutes.”
Available in three heights and with a capacity range of 140L – 767L, CoolPall Flex offers a variety of insulation options with water-based or phase change material (PCM) coolants in single or double coolant configurations.
These flexible configurations deliver differing duration and performance capabilities, in excess of 144 hours, to mitigate temperature excursions in the worldwide transportation of pharmaceutical products.
The use of common components in all variants of CoolPall Flex make it easy for users to learn how to assemble, condition and pack and use that proficiency on the version they are working with on a given day.
