The ribbon cutting is on November 8, 2022, when TIACA and Messe München jointly open transport logistic Americas including TIACA air cargo forum Miami in Florida. For three days, the Miami Beach Convention Center with a trade show and conference will be an international hub for supply chain topics. 212 companies and organizations from 29 countries will exhibit. A total of 5,000 visitors are expected. A trade show app for appointments is about to be launched.
The hall space, which has already been expanded by 15 percent to almost 11,000 m², is completely occupied with 212 exhibitors ranging from top 10 global players to startups, except for a few remaining spaces. The range of products in eleven categories covers infrastructure, logistics services, logistics-related services, IT, and digitalization. The organizers expect 5,000 visitors. 35 percent of them have registered so far. Trade show participation including the conference is free of charge for visitors.
Robert Schönberger, Head of transport logistic exhibitions at Messe München, expects an exponential increase in booking numbers from now on: “The list of participants is very international so far. The level is two-thirds C-level and upper management. About three weeks before the start of the fair, we are more than satisfied with the quality and quantity of pre-registrations. As of now, we are expecting registrations mainly from the Florida and Central America business region.”
The conference program, with 90 speakers and 22 sessions, ranges from C-level eagle perspectives to operational aspects. The focus is on cross-modal issues along the entire supply chain. A CEO Roundtable with Tim Strauss (Amerijet International), Gabriel Oliva (Avianca Cargo) Tobias König (CEO, Rhenus Air & Ocean), Audrone Keinyte (Bluebird Nordic), and Adrien Thominet, (CEO, ECS Group) will kick things off on Tuesday. The program will conclude on Thursday with a career day for professionals and young professionals.
TIACA Chairman Steven Polmans: “Our conference program is leading the way on topics such as digitalization, sustainability, and innovation. It shows the future of the logistics industry. More and more, integrative supply chain solutions are replacing silo thinking at the mode level. This opens up opportunities for the industry and is exciting for specialists and young professionals.”
