Virgin Atlantic Cargo appoints Mark Faulkner as Head of Cargo Commercial

Virgin Atlantic Cargo is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Faulkner as its new Head of Cargo Commercial.

Having begun his cargo career 19 years ago at DHL Aviation, subsequently moving to Cargolux, BA, and IAG before culminating as Director West, Cargo Commercial at Etihad Cargo, Mark brings a wealth of experience within the aviation sector and in the world of cargo to the airline. His background includes revenue management to network and alliances, spanning across the commercial spectrum, as well as being key to several major projects, which delivered considerable benefits and financial contributions. Mark’s new role will focus on the responsibility for leading the commercial activity of the cargo division, including revenue management, strategy and planning, business insights, and network and alliances.

Commenting on his new position, Mark said: ‘I am delighted to be joining Virgin Atlantic Cargo and am committed to building on the fantastic momentum the team has accomplished, as we continue to grow and achieve future success.
