SAMAD Aerospace announced it has started the certification process of its Starling Cargo aircraft. With a cruising speed of 95mph, flight ceiling of 10,000 feet and a range of up to 135 miles, the electric vertical take-off, and landing aircraft will enable flexible point-to-point air cargo of up to 50 kg payload. The Starling Cargo aircraft will be remotely piloted with autopilot capability.

The Starling Cargo aircraft can be utilized for delivering a humanitarian critical cargo of desperately needed food, medicine, and equipment to often remote regions of the world with underdeveloped or damaged local infrastructure. Available to pre-order now for delivery in Q4 2022, the Starling Cargo will offer an air cargo option faster than conventional travel by utilizing locations much closer to the customer’s required point of departure and destination, including remote locations.
